Choosing partners according to their literary taste?

I came across this article in NYT this morning and read it somewhat blushing... Books has alwyas been very important to me and I have often dismissed people - not only potential partners - if they commented my extensive bookcollection with: "Oh, so many books! Do you actually read them or do you have them for decoration?"
Also I become a bit uneasy when people are having problems with spelling... actually here I mean spelling when using their mother tongue...there I have very little tolerance. But, enough about me, here you go the link to the article It´s Not You, It´s Your Books.
