Röd dominans

Det är en hel del rött i mitt liv just nu. Jag har precis köpt en liten röd byrå som inte passar ihop med något annat jag har i lägenheten, men jag kunde helt enkelt inte motstå den. Jag brukar inte göra sådana här "impulsköp" men jag blev glad över att vilja ha något rött igen. Jag har nämligen inte stått ut med den röda färgen i över sex år nu...och allt började med ett dödsfall. Strax efter det ville jag bara bära rött (hur sjukt är inte det? eller så har det med överlevnadsinstinkten att göra) men efter ett par veckor blev jag illamående av att se rött omkring mig. Jag funderade på vad det kunde innebära och jag kom fram till att strax efter att döden slog ner i min omedelbara närhet, ville jag hålla fast vid livet med näbbar och klor. Det var någon sorts undermedveten reaktion. Men efter det så började jag "medvetet" förneka min egen rätt till liv och att ha "roligt", vara levande, energisk, alltså reagerade jag häftigt när jag kom i kontakt med rött. Jag har inte haft julgardiner i flera år nu, testade något år men slet av dem efter trekvart.

I somras köpte jag min första röda klänning på länge, det är den klänningen som jag har på mig på "Greklandsbilden". I eftermiddags märkte jag också att jag bytte mina bloggfärger till rött-stålgrått istället för rosa-ljusblått som jag hade vid starten. Jag har även haft med bilder med mycket rött i. Vad kan det innebära? Vad kommer det att föra med sig? Eller rättare sagt: vad är det för underströmmar som förde upp det röda till ytan? Om man tänker intuitivt, så är rött det första chakrats färg, som står för våra rötter, vår stabilitet, vår grundläggande trygghet. Skulle även kunna stå för livslust (hoppas jag verkligen), kanske tom livsgnistan som jag har saknat under så många år. Dansen kom ju tillbaka i mitt liv i våras, leran och skrivandet för någon månad sen. När jag skriver skrivande och lera osv menar jag inte något pretentiöst. Jag menar inte att det är något jag gör eller önskar göra professionellt. Jag menar bara att alla de här sakerna använder man som uttryckssätt och olika människor väljer att uttrycka sig på olika sätt. Just de nämnda aktiviteterna har varit mina uttryckssätt och de har delvis sinat, torkat ut och delvis blivit strypta vid olika tidpunkter. Någon av de här händleserna var omöjliga att påverka, och de var tätt följda av andra - tyvärr självvalda - händelser som gjorde att jag inte hann återhämta mig...

Photography
A red filter used in black and white photography increases contrast in most scenes. For example, combined with a polarizer, it can turn the sky black. Films simulating the effects of infrared film (such as Ilford's SFX 200) do so by being much more sensitive to red than to other colors.
Red illumination was (and sometimes still is) used as a "safelight" while working in a darkroom, as it does not expose most photographic paper and some films. Though many more modern darkrooms use an amber safelight, red illumination is closely associated with the darkroom in the public mind.

Muy interesanto. I have given myself some food for thoughts. Of course there is another possibility there. I do have a part time job on the side of my own company, and that job has given me certain safety, a regular income. For more than two months now I have known that there are going to be some changes but I don´t know yet how that is going to affect me. There is a huge possibility (or should I say risk) that I am losing my job. But of course my bad "relationship" with the color red is older then this job-issue...hmm, so this is not the answer. Anyway, I am hoping as I said earlier, that all this means that I´m back in life. Back in the flow. Or at least on my way :)
